The updated ironing board from the Dutch manufacturer Philips has become 1 kg lighter (now weighs 7.8 kg) compared to the earlier version of the GC240. This will simplify the transportation process by adding mobility models.

The weight reduction did not result in a downsizing of the Philips Easy8 GC240/25. It offers a wide ironing surface (45 cm) with a standard length of 120 cm, which means that the process of caring for bed linen or tablecloths should be convenient. The manufacturer did not forget about a large heat-resistant stand, on which irons with steam generators, which are gaining popularity, will definitely fit.

Branded "wings"

An exclusive feature of the Philips Easy8 GC240/25 is the ShoulderWing system. This is a pair of wing hangers that increase the width of the board on one side. It is stated that their presence makes it possible to simplify the process of ironing shirts and blouses: they can be put on the countertop, comfortably straightened in the area of the shoulders and neck. And the ShoulderWing system is foldable: for working with other clothes and underwear, the hangers are easily removed.

Other bonuses

The pleasant features of the model include a coat hanger, located next to the platform for the iron. Also available are height adjustment (6 positions from 70 to 94 cm), non-slip nozzles on the legs, a lock that prevents accidental folding or unfolding. AquaBlock technology should prevent the accumulation of condensate in the case, but some users note that there is too much moisture when ironing with a steam generator.
