I work with people, and my job constantly involves traveling. I call it "field sociology." Essentially, I conduct various sociological and marketing research in specially selected focus groups as well as in large collectives. In a month, I'm home only 8-10 days; the rest of the time is spent traveling around different regions of Ukraine. Before major elections, whether parliamentary or presidential, I might spend four to five weeks "working in the field." Of course, working with people requires a neat appearance, which means clean and ironed clothes, and an iron and ironing board aren't always available. That's why I bought this steamer, which can be carried with you in your luggage. In most situations, it can replace an iron. It is especially convenient that you can do without an ironing board. It quickly steams and smooths thin fabrics. Thicker and coarser fabrics are also manageable but require a bit more time. It quickly sets up in any suitable environment (hotel, apartment, dormitory, it doesn't matter as long as there is an outlet and water) and heats up for use in less than a minute. It provides a decent steam output (according to the specifications, it's 26 grams per minute), so steaming usually doesn't take much time. It is safe to use, with an automatic shut-off feature. Two-year warranty. Convenient for moving by car, but when you have to travel by trains or buses, the one and a half kilogram weight is already noticeable. During cold starts, it often drips water, this should be kept in mind. |
I do not advise Good design Steams poorly and takes a very long time, didn't steam tulle at all. Took 30-40 minutes on a cotton shirt, basically not great, I ironed it in 10 minutes. use Philips CompactTouch GC 430 week i recommend it don't buy |
Excellent, convenient, and relatively compact steamer. It steams clothes very quickly. It literally refreshed my summer clothes in just 1-1.5 hours. Unfortunately, it doesn't handle all fabric types equally well. Cotton items, in particular, presented some challenges for some reason. The water tank lasts for about half of a standard ironing session. This doesn't cause much of an issue, as the water heats up instantly, and steam starts coming out in just a minute. The packaging was especially pleasing: very convenient for storage and transport if necessary. The water tank, although small, is very convenient. It removes all excess water. The handle itself is not heavy, which does not interfere during steaming. Includes a door hanger - very convenient! In conclusion, I recommend it as a supplement to the iron. Design Compactness Convenience Small water container use Philips CompactTouch GC 430 month or more i recommend it should buy |
