An amateur DSLR from Pentax, released towards the end of 2022. In essence, the model is a slightly improved version of the Pentax K-70 camera from the 2016 model range. It increased the resolution of the 3-inch touch screen on a rotating hinge (from 921 thousand pixels to 1.04 million pixels) and added a trio of new custom image modes: Satobi, Bleach Bypass and Cross Processing.
The camera also has preset Kyushu and Katen Custom Image modes, which require special lenses to use. Inside the Pentax KF kit there is a stabilized APS-C format image sensor with a resolution of 24 MP. The camera's viewfinder has a pentaprism design. In burst mode, the model develops a speed of up to 6 fps. Video footage on a DSLR is recorded in the maximum frame resolution of Full HD - 1920x1080 pixels at 60 fps. The model was equipped with a Wi-Fi wireless adapter, a USB type C charging port, and a built-in flash with a guide number of “6.” A full charge of the proprietary D-LI109 battery is enough for about 410 frames. The body of the model boasts a dust- and moisture-proof design. In the kit package, the camera is most often supplied with universal 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 optics.
