Chain Lubrication Adjustment

The low-cost chainsaw is equipped with a 450 mm tyre for cutting branches, shrubs and felling trees. According to the manufacturer, the saw can cut trees up to 400 mm thick, however, users note that they freely cut trees up to 800 mm (in two passes). Automatic chain lubrication is perfectly organized here, thanks to which the oil is distributed as much as possible over the entire tyre during operation, without losing a single drop. Also, the device provides the possibility of self-adjustment of chain lubrication depending on the material being cut. So for trimming thin branches, the oil supply can be reduced, and when cutting thick logs, increase. The saw itself is quite heavy (6.9 kg), so you will have to take a break more often.

Design features

The unit runs on a mixture of oil and 95th gasoline. A 550 mL tank is enough for an hour of continuous operation. It has a transparent indicator of the level of the gasoline-oil mixture, so you can add fuel and lubricants in time (there is no such indicator on the chain lubrication tank). On top of the housing there is a quick access to the filter: just turn the lever and remove the filter for cleaning. True, the filter itself is paper, so after two to three months it may fail and will have to be changed. Also note that the model does not have a toothed stop at the base of the tyre, which, on the one hand, is used for convenient sawing of logs, and on the other hand, it protects the body from impact (if the saw is sharply pulled forward). But even in a big frost it starts with half a turn. The saw has an Easy Start system, which, according to the manufacturer, significantly reduces starter wear compared to models of the same category.
