Simple sprayer with battery
The tank volume of the Patriot PT 12AC backpack sprayer is 12 liters. The container is made of plastic, which itself is durable, but does not endure bumps and drops. But the telescopic "fishing rod" is made of stainless steel. It is difficult to break (unlike plastic tubes), and even in a slightly bent state, it can continue to work. The atomizer is comfortable to wear because there is a plastic back with holes for ventilation on the surface of the tank (so the back does not sweat in the heat and does not touch the container filled with cold water). But the straps (and especially their plastic carabiners) are of mediocre quality and don't inspire much confidence. The mouth of the tank is wide and comfortable. Inside it is inserted a filter in the form of a removable cup. The filter mesh prevents dirt particles or lumps of undissolved chemicals from clogging the nozzles or diaphragm pump. There are as many as three nozzles in the kit: “watering can”, “double cone” and slotted (with a flat “torch”). The latter is intended not so much for gardeners, but for pest control specialists who also use cordless garden sprayers in their work. The strength of the jet (and therefore the flow rate) can be controlled by a regulator that changes the working pressure in the range from 1.5 bar to 4 bar.
A large supply of energy — just for the whole garden
The nebulizer is equipped with a gel-type lead-acid battery. Due to the fact that the electrolyte inside the battery is in a gel-like state, the atomizer can be tilted and even turned over while flushing the tank. The battery is not removable. But it has a large capacity — as much as 8 Ah. According to user reviews, a garden planted with potatoes with an area of 5 – 6 acres can be treated with poison against beetles in one go without recharging. The atomizer has a simple charge indicator that shows the current battery voltage.
Inexpensive home appliance
The Patriot PT 12AC Sprayer is perfect for occasional use in the garden. Given its low (by the standards of battery devices) cost, it can be a great gift for an amateur gardener.
