A one-of-a-kind overclocker memory kit that delivers impressive performance in DDR4 format, but at a fraction of the price of classic DDR4 memory. Consists of 2 modules of 8 GB each (total 16 GB). The manufacturer is positioned as a product of the upper part of the middle price category, created for the needs of gamers, overclocking enthusiasts and workstation owners who are looking for the best balance between price and performance. Thanks to the increased clock frequency up to 4000 MHz (note: CL20 timings at 1.4 V), the Patriot Memory Viper Elite II DDR4 2x8Gb kit demonstrates high throughput up to 32000 MB/s. In general, this is one of the fastest DDR4 RAM options that you can find on the market for a reasonable price. It should also be noted that this is already the second iteration of...the Viper Elite line, in which Patriot engineers have worked on bugs, increased the efficiency and performance of the Viper Elite RAM under load. In particular, they increased the area of the heatsink so that it covered the entire area of the chip, and used light and cold aviation aluminium as the base. At the same time, the height of the module was reduced from 43 to 35 mm, which reduced the likelihood of conflicts when installing an overall tower cooler or liquid cooling system.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Patriot Memory Viper Elite II DDR4 2x8Gb is highly regarded for its good design and performance, with users appreciating its unobtrusive appearance and low-profile heatsinks. Many users have successfully overclocked the RAM, achieving higher speeds with reduced timings, though some noted that cooling becomes an issue when overclocked excessively. The RAM is praised for its value for money, offering a good price for its potential. While some configurations experienced issues with XMP profiles, the overall feedback is positive, with users recommending it for both gaming and general use. However, it's advised to avoid extreme overclocking to prevent overheating.

I recommend to buy
15 July 2022
I bought a 2666 MHz kit, for a couple of random movements in the BIOS, it wound up at 3333 MHz with timings 16-18-36, 1.36V. The throughput suits me personally, the latency only gives up a little. I think if you still poshamanit then it will get up at 3600.
Good performance
Unobtrusive design, just what you need from memory
Good price for its potential

Buy it, just don't overclock it to 5000MHz:)

The best RAM in the world!
Configured in BIOS in 5 minutes from 4000MHz to 4200MHz and reduced timings
The cooling is weak if you overclock. But if you don't want to overclock, then better cooling isn't necessary (overclocked to 5000, it just melted).

I recommend it for purchase and upgrade for an Intel processor.

I got it for gaming in hopes of overclocking a bit. Processor i7 11700k, Z590 motherboard. It was a complete surprise that the memory on auto with XMP 4000 started at 4400 with auto timings 19-26-26-46. And I don't need more than that.
Works, is pursued. The price for 8GB 4000 is lower than for 2666.
