4-in-1
The device combines in one bottle the functions of a laser printer for monochrome printing, a scanner for A4 paper, a copier and a fax machine. Documents for printing are queued to the model via a wireless Wi-Fi channel, via a USB cable or via a local network via an Ethernet connector. Also for the MFP, support for Air Print wireless printing services (for Apple gadgets) and Mopria (for Android smartphones) is announced.
Print performance
The Pantum M6607NW wakes up from a "cold" state in about 8 seconds, after which it develops a maximum print speed of up to 22 ppm. The MFP makes scans of papers in automatic mode, for which the model has been equipped with an auto-feed mechanism for originals. In flatbed mode, the scanner sensor can "read" colour images with an optical resolution of 1200x1200 dpi. The result is sent by e-mail, FTP or saved directly to the computer.
Standard cartridge resource
The print cartridge P-210 for the device has a resource of about 1600 prints. At the same time, the MFP can print up to 20,000 pages of office documentation per month. In fact, after 50 printed sheets, the device often requires a “cool down”, i.e. pauses to avoid overheating of the "insides". Flattering words about the model are added by a convenient control panel with a two-line display. The Pantum M6607NW fulfills its price tag with a vengeance, fitting both into the home office environment and into the conditions of a small modern office.
