I bought a smartphone that wasn't too expensive, it can't boast of a super high-quality audio output, but it's quite suitable for listening to pop music or the radio, it doesn't hurt your ears )) I chose headphones based on the principle of "inexpensive, but from a reputable brand." This option from Panasonic seemed successful, especially since I was able to find it in a regular retail store and listen to it. Of course, I ordered it online afterwards. What I love about old, time-tested brands is that they have a certain decent level of quality, below which they no longer fall. Moreover, as this model proves, this level concerns both the materials used, the assembly, and the sound of the finished headphones. If you try to say briefly about these headphones, then this is the middle peasant in everything. The design is successful, tested by different manufacturers, maybe not the most sophisticated or portable, but strong. The plastic does not impress with its texture or density, but it is well processed, does not slip and looks nice. The sound is not perfect and definitely does not reach the hi-fi standards, but the average smartphone is never a music device and gives a signal of even worse quality, so here the ear-smart combination turns out to be very balanced. Of the pluses, I also note a high-quality flat cable, a good durable L-shaped mini-jack and the important fact that these ears feel very comfortable on the head. For two weeks there was a noticeable and unpleasant smell of plastic. The shackle at the articulation points with the swivel mechanism often creaks. If it were a different, cheap brand, I would not say a word about these reasons, but Panasonic should not allow such mistakes, a glorious history obliges. |

One of these includes the Panasonic RP-HF300 headphones, the direct competitor of which is the Sony MDR-ZX310 model, which is almost similar in characteristics.

In terms of design and ergonomics, the RP-HF300 impresses with its stylish form factor in 4 colour options (black, blue, white and pink), foldable design, light weight (124g), solid build quality, and strong reversible cable with mini L-plug -Jack. All this makes it convenient to use headphones not only at home or in the office, but also on the street. However as the practice of wearing shows, the headband is too rigid and squeezes the head, and therefore prolonged use can cause discomfort. So, there were no amenities without a fly in the ointment.
Sound for the price
Of course, we did not rely on Hi-Fi, but in general, on a 5-point scale, we rated the sound at 3.5. There is a slight dip in the mid and high frequencies, and intelligibility is not very good, the sound in these ranges is blurry, but when the ear gets used to it, the detail becomes better. There are no complaints about the lower case. The bass is deep and clear. The volume reserve is more than enough (110 dB), the manufacturer has provided for work in noisy places.
The RP-HF300 is a compact all-rounder for listening to music in any environment. Perfect for youth and hipsters.
