Outwell Campion Lux Double

Double version

Along with the Campion Lux single-seat model from Outwell, a Double version was introduced in 2021, designed to accommodate two people. It is made in black, while the single-seat variation is in blue.

With a length of 225 cm, the Outwell Campion Lux Double has a bed 140 cm wide. Accordingly, two owners of medium build and height up to 195 cm should not feel cramped. For additional thermal insulation of the head and neck area, a large hood is provided, which is rarely found in double sleeping bags.

To increase the convenience of tourists, a two-way zipper with fabric bite protection, an internal pocket for a phone or a flashlight, and a compression pouch are designed. In the latter, the dimensions of the model do not exceed 49x26x26 cm, which is only a little more than that of a warm single sleeping bag.

Preparedness for sub-zero temperatures

The Outwell Campion Lux Double uses two-layer Isofill insulation with offset layers relative to each other. This design should improve thermal insulation and minimize heat loss. The possibility of using the model for three seasons (spring, summer and autumn) is claimed, and the boundary temperatures of a comfortable overnight stay capture even frosts (temperature range from +5 to -1 °C).

In extreme situations, it will be possible to avoid hypothermia by staying overnight in frost down to -16 °C.

With care for the environment

The filling of the sleeping bag is located between the breathable lining made of polyester and the outer material. Their additional features include the absence of fluoropolymers and other chemicals in the composition (PFC free), which confirms the manufacturer's responsible approach to current environmental problems.

The sleeping bag-blanket weighs relatively little (2.5 kg), which means that in addition to car outings, it is permissible to consider it for hiking and cycling trips. Yes, and in general, the Outwell Campion Lux Double is a very interesting model for two for a reasonable price.
