Ontario RAT 1 SP

Representing the middle price segment, the Ontario brand folding knife is a versatile "workhorse" for everyday use. It will come in handy on a hike, where it will help with cooking or doing other handy work, suitable for mushroom pickers, as well as for constant wear in a backpack or in a pocket of clothes (when folded, it has a length of 12 cm). The folding mechanism allows you to open the model with one hand, and in addition, there is a blade lock for increased safety of operation.

The handle is made of nylon, provides a small sub-finger recess for a comfortable direct grip, as well as a hole for using a lanyard (special strap). The Ontario RAT 1 SP knife boasts a relatively short (89 mm) but rather thick (3 mm) blade with a smooth cutting edge. The blade is made of AUS-8 steel. The advantages of this metal include high hardness, corresponding to 58 on the HRC scale, long-term retention of sharpness, ease of sharpening, as well as good resistance to corrosion. All this makes the model well prepared for various field operating conditions.
