4 modes of operation

The Olimpia Splendid CaldoRad oil radiator from the middle and advanced price category is a universal solution with four operating modes. It offers two basic heating options: half power (1 kW) and full power (2 kW). In addition, the device is equipped with additional functions. For example, the ECO mode helps to reduce energy consumption, and the thermal ventilation mode is turbo heating with the operation of the built-in fan, accelerating heat distribution and increasing efficiency. It can also be used without heating, simply for air circulation.

The model has an Anti-frost function, which provides standby heating, which prevents the walls from freezing and damage to devices sensitive to low temperatures.

3 rotary switches

The device is controlled by three mechanical rotary switches. One of them allows you to select one of the described operating modes, the second regulates the temperature, and the built-in thermostat ensures stable maintenance of the set value. The third switch allows you to set the timer for 24 hours in 15-minute increments, which ultimately gives 96 segments for precise time adjustment.

The basic settings are simple and intuitive. The only exception might be the use of a timer, as its setup would be easier with a display (which the model does not have).

Safe and practical device

This heater is ideal for rooms of about 20 m², but thanks to the thermal ventilation it is also effective in larger rooms. Convenient solutions include a place for winding the power cord and wheels for easy transportation. In addition to overheating protection, the device also has an automatic shutdown function if it falls.
