Unlike the X7 Marauder launched a year earlier, the Olight X7R Marauder has a built-in proximity sensor that dims the flashlight for safety. Equipped with three heavy-duty American Cree XHP70 Cool White LEDs (cold white 6000K) with textured reflectors and can be operated in six different brightness modes. The body of the device is made of T6061 anodized aluminium alloy, which is widely used in the aerospace industry. For power, a complete non-separable battery pack is used, consisting of four Li-Ion cells of size 18650 (3.7 V). Such a battery has an impressive energy capacity, is designed for 500 cycles and is charged via a USB Type-C port with a current of about 3.0 A. |
