Model overview based on user reviews
The Novatel MiFi 6620L is a portable router with a sleek design and convenient features such as a PowerBank function, a touchscreen display, and USB connectivity. It supports up to 15 connected devices and offers excellent battery life, lasting up to 20 hours. However, users have reported significant issues with its connectivity, particularly in European countries where it fails to connect to 4G/LTE networks, as it is primarily designed for use in the USA. Additionally, some users have experienced unstable firmware and outdated technology, leading to connectivity problems with 3G and 4G networks over time. Despite these issues, the device has been praised for its good signal reception and build quality. Overall, while it performs well in certain regions, potential buyers should be aware of its limitations in Europe and consider the need for firmware updates to maintain functionality.

no
Constantly pings and the network connection is unstable. Before this, I had the 5510, changed it foolishly and now I regret it.
use Novatel MiFi 6620L month or more i recommend it don't buy
A normal router, but it will not work in 4G/LTE countries in the European Union
19 July 2017
I bought it a year ago from Intertelecom. New firmware. Works great in 3G. I tried both 2.5 Hz and 5 Hz - everything is fine. But I went to Bulgaria and ran into a problem! This device cannot work in 4G in any country in Europe or the European Union! The same problem occurred in Poland and Germany. In Ukraine, I contacted many specialists and everyone shrugged, saying we couldn’t flash it so that it would work in 4G. It only works on LTE in the US. That's how it's made. In Bulgaria, Poland, Germany, I also contacted the service with a request to flash a 4G/LTE European 4G signal. Everyone there said the same thing. To make it clearer, I bought a European SIM card for 4G Internet and the device emits a signal in GSM mode. In the settings I tried to switch to 4G/LTE and it says - SIGNAL BLOCKED/CONNECTION NOT POSSIBLE! I even tried to switch by connecting the device to the computer by going to the website in settings. USELESS! The result is the same . In a word, NOVATEL will not work in 4G mode in Europe, because it was made specifically for the USA - LTE.
Design, convenient menu and settings, PowerBank function, monitor, USB and Micro USB ports, signal reception, build quality, excellent battery life - long
In European countries, in EU countries, it does not work at all with 4G. And it will not work.
use Novatel MiFi 6620L month or more
Waste of money. partially, no longer corresponds to the times and technologies

I bought it from the online store Stylus a little over a year ago. Before that, we used the same model. Really liked it. I don't want to criticize the seller; the seller (the online store itself) is fine. Although the device worked fine for 2 months, it then refused to connect to 4G Kyivstar, then refused to connect to 4G Life and 4G Vodafone. And after another month, it stopped connecting to 3G Kyivstar, 3G Life, and 3G Vodafone as well. The product description stated that it works with all operators: Kyivstar, Life, Vodafone in both 3G and 4G standards. I already knew this without the description because I had used such a router. Currently, the device bought from Stylus is not in use... Imagine, it only connects to the EDGE connection. Although, it sees all types of networks!!! I was told it needs a firmware update or to enable 4G support via special software!!! A JOKE!!!!!! AND YOU HAVE TO PAY AGAIN FOR IT!!! It's been sitting idle for almost a year!!!! Regret buying it. Wanted to leave feedback for the seller, but the possibility for this product is disabled.. or not working. I understand it's a firmware issue, but the device isn't working; it works, just doesn't fulfill its main tasks... DOESN'T CONNECT TO 4G/3G networks. SO, DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKES. BETTER BUY SOMETHING MORE MODERN!

"A decent router, but it won't work in 4G/LTE in EU countries" -- IT WILL WORK, DEFINITELY! MY FORMER Novatel MiFi 6620L WORKED in Poland, Germany, and the Czech Republic. In France, it did need three reboots, but it worked regardless.
the battery holds well, catches (caught) the network well. output under the antenna. connector for a nano-SIM card
does not connect to 4G/3G although it sees them. technologically outdated. Unfortunately. not stable firmware. and without a stable firmware, it will not work!!
