Short description:

Nokia 6120 Classic breaks all records today. This is one of the most inexpensive smartphones among modern models available for sale. Although most smartphones are more powerful, this model claims to be the most massive smartphone of the current generation.

Naturally, good technical solutions are implemented in the smartphone - support for several GSM frequencies, support for 3G, Bluetooth 2.0 and much, much more. At the same time, the 6210 Classic looks like ordinary mobile phones, it is even smaller than some traditional models. For a smartphone, the advantage is debatable, but many will surely like it.

Technical features:
  • 105x46x15 mm - for a smartphone, this is very, very good. Nokia 6120 Classic looks almost no different from a regular phone. That is, in fact, nothing at all. Unfortunately, there is not even a stylus or touch screen. In the design of the case, elements of plastic of various structures, as well as metal, are used. In general, Classic comes in two versions of cases - black and silver.
  • The 6120 Classic display is covered by a protective plastic panel. Its diagonal is 2". For a smartphone, this, perhaps, is not enough, but do not forget that the model is, firstly, low-cost, even super-low-cost, and, secondly, it is made in the form factor of a regular phone. The resolution is good - 240x320 pixels, up to 16 million shades of colours are displayed. In the sun, the colours fade a little and the picture is seen as monochrome, but the text and other service information are quite readable (the mirror substrate works well in this case).
  • Multiple 2G and 3G frequencies are supported - GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and WCDMA/HSDPA 850/2100. It should be noted that the model is actually identical to the next Nokia smartphone. Model 6121 differs only in that it supports another 3G communication standard - instead of 850/2100 – 900/2100. In addition, more body colour options are used for the design of 6121.
  • The model has relatively little memory (for a smartphone) - 128 megabytes. However, even less is available to the user - only about 35. The available RAM is 20 MB. Fortunately, you can easily add a gigabyte or two to `storage` using a microSD card - they are, as you might expect, supported. By the way, the smartphone can also work in USB Mass Storage mode - you can save files of any format from computers and laptops to it, if desired.
  • For radio enthusiasts, there are two options - use the built-in FM receiver (only works with a connected headset - it serves as an antenna) or (for 3G networks) use digital streaming radio.
  • The Data Transfer function is very curious. Even if you don't have a SIM card, you can transfer contacts, calendar data, and personal files from one compatible Nokia phone to another. It is not clear yet whether a password is needed to transfer data. Now, when there is a constant `hunting` for cell phones, you would not want the data from your, say, stolen device to be `merged` somewhere.
  • To work with office documents, there are Quick Office and Adobe PDF programs. The first is for reading `office` files such as doc, xls, etc., the second is for viewing PDF files. To get the full version of Quick Office, which allows you to create and edit documents, you need to pay copyright holders a certain amount.
Camera:
  • The camera in the Nokia 6120 is a two-megapixel camera and is relatively good. You can take pictures with a resolution of 1600x1200 to 320x240 pixels (pictures with a minimum resolution are good for a screen saver, etc., as they match the resolution of the display).
  • You can choose the quality of the pictures (in most phones you can safely set it to the maximum), select the `white balance` mode, select the night shooting mode and laugh to tears by applying `funny and original` effects like Negative, Sepia, etc. to the pictures. Shooting in series and panoramic shooting is also possible.
  • The flash is LED, which means it's bad. However, LED flash is better than none at all. If it is too bright, you will not be able to quietly, without problems, take the most interesting shots, the chance for which usually appears in the most unexpected situations and places.
  • Video shooting is possible with resolutions of 320x240, 176x144 and 128x96 pixels. The video is saved in 3GP format, the frame rate is 15 per second. For MMS messages, you can limit the duration of the clip.
  • For video calls on the front panel there is a second auxiliary camera with QVGA resolution (240x320 pixels). Given that 3G is not yet supported in our country and will not be supported in the near future, this is nothing more than a joke from manufacturers.
