The stereotype that “dual-band” devices are expensive completely breaks the Netis N4 Wi-Fi router, assembled in a compact package with overall dimensions of only 118x86x22 mm.
Dual range
Two non-removable swivel antennas protrude from the miniature body of the device. Each of them is dual and operates in the range of both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. At the lower frequency, the router delivers speeds of up to 300 Mbps in wireless networks, at the top — up to 867 Mbps. When connecting clients through the physical WAN and LAN ports (2 pcs.), Throughput rests on a 100-megabit "ceiling".
Intuitive interface
The router configuration web interface opens at 192.168.1.254, which must be "scored" in the browser line. First of all, the user is greeted with a quick settings window, where it is proposed to enter the connection parameters to the provider and protect the wireless connection with a password. A much smaller proportion of users will fumble in the settings more specifically. The functional set here is quite standard: the router's assets include a MAC address filter, a bridge mode, a firewall, IPv4/IPv6 and TR-069 are supported.
High stability
The model fully fulfills the money paid, without requiring "dancing with a tambourine" for setting up and demonstrating the stability of data transfer at high speed without disconnecting the connection. The router easily “breaks through” one or two walls in the apartment, thereby providing coverage for the entire area of a relatively small dwelling in the “one-room” or “kopeck piece” format.
