The bulb consists of a capsule with a heatsink on one side and semi-transparent glass on the other, under which three bright LEDs are hidden. Round contacts are located at the edges. The bulbs are supplied in a blister pack, I mention this because I've received bulbs in packages.
They shine brightly. Three of them illuminate the car's interior much better than the dim halogen bulbs. But be careful, they are 6000K, which means the light will be blue-white, cold, and sterile like in a hospital. At first, I liked it, but after driving a bit with this, I realized that it's better to get 4500-5000K, as such light can be somewhat straining.
The bulbs are great for license plate lighting; some cars use this size instead of the W5W marker lights. However, it is worth noting that the bulbs are not sealed and are unlikely to be suitable for outdoor use, so you need to see how safe they will be in the license plate fixture (in some cars, there are problems with water getting into the fixture, causing the bulbs to burn out and wires to oxidize).
