RDS
RDS is a radio data system that adds additional information to the FM radio signal (similar to teletext in the broadcast television band). This information is shown on the radio display. The name of the radio station, the weather, the name of the song that is currently playing and the name of its artist, and the time are transmitted using the RDS system.
