Family of mid-range gaming laptops built on the Intel Raptor Lake hardware platform and equipped with mid-range graphics cards from the GeForce RTX 40 series (Ada Lovelace architecture). Part of the MSI Sword 2024 line-up, they are a simpler and more affordable alternative to the MSI Titan and Stealth gaming laptops. The high level of performance is ensured by the Intel Raptor Lake hardware platform, featuring powerful Core i7 processors with hybrid core configurations, high energy efficiency, and enhanced AI capabilities.
The graphics subsystem is implemented on NVIDIA RTX 4060 graphics cards with 8 GB of video memory, second-generation ray tracing hardware support, and DLSS 3.5 technology. Unlike earlier versions of DLSS, this third generation can significantly increase the average framerate in games through unique frame generation technology. This is extremely useful when using resource-intensive ray tracing or when increasing the resolution from 1080p to 1440p.
Depending on the specific model, the 16-inch screen may come in two variants: a classic IPS with a resolution of 1080p and a refresh rate of 144 Hz, or a more advanced IPS with a resolution of 1440p, a refresh rate of 240 Hz, and an expanded 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
