For 95 years, the French company Moulinex has been giving users around the world beautiful, functional and practical household appliances that greatly facilitate household work. One of these is the LM 3001 blender, which has good performance at an affordable price.

External attractiveness

The model can be called compact and ergonomic, with a weight of 1.76 kg, its diameter is only 21 cm, and its height is 40 cm. The glossy white plastic case harmonizes nicely with a transparent one and a half liter bowl. It's also plastic, has a measuring scale, and is strong enough to withstand accidental drops or bumps. In addition, plastic reduces the cost of the device, but, unfortunately, unlike glass, it is not so durable, it can have a pungent smell “out of the box” (although reviews about the device do not sin with this) and become cloudy over time during use.

Functionality

The model is equipped with 4 stainless steel knives, operates in pulse mode and two speeds, with a maximum power of 400 watts. There is a measuring cup for adding ingredients in the process. Before grinding, large solid products must be finely chopped and poured into the bowl in small portions, otherwise the power may not be enough. Ideally, the manufacturer recommends using the device for preparing liquids: shakes, mousses, purees, cocktails, pancake dough. For those who plan to use a blender for crushing ice, this model will not work, it simply does not have such a mode, and it simply does not have the capabilities.

Technical features

The lid, knives and bowl are securely fixed thanks to the Secure Lock technology. Simply put, until you install them correctly and turn on the lock, the device will not work. The LM 3001 is easy to disassemble, all removable parts are washable in warm soapy water or in the dishwasher.

LM 3001 is quite suitable for kitchen needs, and when used 2-3 times a week, it will last 5 years or even more, which, at such a cost and functionality, is a very decent result.
