Ironing system MIE Milano

Elegant, comfortable and performant ironing system. The set consists of a height-adjustable board, a steam generator, a hose platform and an iron. The size of the ironing board is 130x45 cm, and the lifting height is up to 100 cm. The lifting mechanism is equipped with a gas rack, which allows you to smoothly and accurately move the work surface to the desired height. The board has steam suction and blowing options.

The iron is equipped with an ergonomic handle covered with cork wood. The outsole is a high-strength aluminium alloy. The contact surface turned out to be light, with pronounced non-stick properties. When ironing expensive delicate items, the sole can be equipped with a Teflon nozzle, which is included in the kit. The MIE Milano ironing system is a complex for professional care of things.

With it, you can iron absolutely any clothes or underwear without the risk of burning, from T-shirts and knitwear to woolen sweaters and fur jackets. To care for things that cannot be ironed in a traditional way, you can use the blower mode. In this case, things will be smoothed out simply with an air cushion. The boiler of the steam generator works with a pressure of up to 4 bar, the steam supply is 80 g/min. Steam is supplied at the touch of a button, additionally it is possible to fix the supply of steam.

In the line of the manufacturer MIE, the Milano ironing system belongs to the advanced solutions. It is smoothly adjustable in height (up to 100 cm), for which the gas lift mechanism is responsible. The working surface is characterized by large dimensions (130 by 45 cm): trousers and most dresses fit here in length, and shirts and blouses in width.

Active ironing board

The MIE Milano ironing board is active, that is, it supports ventilation and suction functions. The first one forms a kind of “air cushion” and will help with the processing of delicate fabrics, and the second one will fix the product better and reduce the overall complexity of ironing.

Additional heating of the board is also implemented, eliminating excess moisture. Plus there is a swivel armrest, holders for the steam line and coat hangers.

Iron with boiler steam generator

Under the ironing surface there is a steam generator with a boiler system, which provides the ability to work non-stop with a bay "on the go". From a 1.5 liter removable tank, water enters the boiler, where it is converted into steam. It is supplied under a pressure of 4 bar and with a capacity of up to 80 g/min. Such parameters are quite enough for typical household tasks of ironing and not only. Thanks to the complete cartridge, even tap water is allowed to be poured into the system.

The MIE Milano iron received an aluminium soleplate, a comfortable cork handle, a traditional “washer” for selecting temperatures and 2 steam supply buttons (permanently or by pressing). For ironing delicate fabrics, a Teflon nozzle is included in the package, and an anti-drip system is implemented to protect against splashes.

Thoughtful ergonomics

The compactness of the station when folded is added by compartments for an iron and a 3-metre power cord. Comfortable to move the model weighing 27 kg will allow large transport wheels. It is stated that they do not slip and do not spoil the floor coverings.

The iron stand with heat-resistant pads deserves special mention. It is made retractable, and when extended, the system turns on by itself, and when you return it, it turns off (this partly compensates for the lack of auto-shutdown).
