I didn't buy the jigsaw here, but I'm writing a review for the thoughtful buyers :) This is not my first jigsaw (I've been in the furniture manufacturing industry since 1996). This jigsaw was purchased for a specific type of work, namely inserting hobs and sinks into countertops (made of pressed sawdust, etc.). I tested this jigsaw on a countertop with a thickness of 28mm. Straight cuts with a new FAST CUT blade! I’m elaborating specifically for the Metabo representative... I started making the cuts, and have you seen Tokyo Drift? To cut straight with this blade, you have to hold the jigsaw at a 30 DEGREE angle to the cutting line! Alright, I can deal with that. The adventure continued—after completing the cut-out contour, I tried to remove the inner part but couldn't! With a material thickness of 28mm, the blade skewed the angle by 8mm (so it's 0 on the surface and ±8 mm at the bottom). With 38mm, the deviation is 10-12mm! Yes, I know, a jigsaw isn't meant for perfectly straight cuts and so on! But just think about these numbers... At the Metabo service center (in Dnipro), they tried cutting 3 cm of chipboard—their verdict was that everything was working fine! They then asked for a video of the jigsaw in action and so on. So my question is, what is this jigsaw really for? Out of all the jigsaws I have (six in total), this one cuts like a cheap market jigsaw for 500 UAH... Not recommended. Super for this price, check the serial number on the nameplate for a 3 year warranty! And I recommend checking on the table, if possible, whether it jumps or not, each is calibrated in its own way. Don't expect parquet flooring properties from a jigsaw ;) for the money it's very good. I'm collecting furniture. For 3000 rub. Turning the sole up to 45° makes it possible to change the cutting angle and achieve results even on materials with an uneven surface.
Clean and safe workplace
The file is removed by pulling the lever to the side, the key is not needed. Chips do not interfere with work, they are protected from them by a 4-position protective shield made of transparent plastic and a blowing function.
