excellent model, I really liked it
25 November 2015
I was choosing between the Samsung S6 and Meizu PRO 5. I was looking for a smartphone that I could use for more than one year. I had never used a phone with such a large screen before, but you quickly get used to it, no hassle at all. I chose the PRO 5 and didn't regret it!
The camera's performance is unrivaled; taking photos and videos is a pleasure. It doesn't slip from your hands. Charges very quickly, the battery lasts up to 2 days, and there is a "super-saving" mode (when the charge is less than 10%, you can still use the phone for another 2 hours). The fingerprint scanner works precisely. The Flyme interface is intuitive. Fast and powerful. Very satisfied, won't part with my new smartphone.

use Meizu Pro 5 32GB week i recommend it should buy
Should I buy it or not? A definite YES! A top-of-the-line device for this price is amazing!
15 January 2016
1 - Excellent build, fits very comfortably in the hand
2 - For music lovers, this is the best smartphone. Turning up the volume to the max in headphones is suicide! The phone plays not just loudly, but very clearly and with high quality.
3 - The battery easily lasts two days, averaging 8 hours of screen time with 3G constantly on
4 - The scanner works very quickly, with no errors in activation
5 - The socket... It's a minus and a plus... Very convenient, of course, but if you want to charge your phone at a friend's place, it might not work out (Luckily, the phone lasted 5 hours on 10%)
6 - FlymeOS... Excellent firmware, great optimization, everything is smooth, no lags or crashes!
Why did I list the display and camera as cons? It's simple, the display lacks contrast (for an AMOLED), and the color reproduction leans into blue tones if you hold the phone at a 45° angle.
The camera, having 21MP and such optics, could perform better, but unfortunately, Meizu is Meizu; hence, the camera will only start shooting decently after six months!

use Meizu Pro 5 32GB month or more i recommend it should buy
i can't recommend it, but it's still fast, beautiful, and has a good camera.
20 December 2016
Meizu Pro 5 64 GB - I've repaired it three times already:
1. The home button and scanner stopped working, then the headphones. The service center said water got in and everything corroded. Water definitely didn't get in, probably just poor protection;
2. Broke the glass, replacement module around €100;
3. From time to time, incoming-outgoing calls and all messages don't go through. Sometimes (but not always) a restart after each call helps. Can't fix it, seems to be software issues.
Camera, performance, large screen, beautiful design
The fingerprint scanner works poorly, extremely sensitive to temperature changes, not protected from dust and moisture, screen replacement is three times more expensive than an iPhone, system glitches...
use Meizu Pro 5 32GB more than year

The 5.7" phablet is the flagship device among the products of the Chinese company Meizu. At the same time, it is one of the most powerful smartphones in the world in terms of performance.

Display

Chinese engineers did not race for ultra-high screen resolution and equipped the Meizu Pro 5 with a high-quality FullHD SuperAMOLED matrix manufactured by Samsung. The pixel density at a diagonal of 5.7 "reaches 386ppi — the individual points from which the image is built will not interfere with the perception of the picture. Such a screen produces a clear picture and has excellent viewing angles. But in terms of saturation, the image may seem too intense in terms of colour levels.

"Filling"

The 8-core Exynos 7420 processor was also borrowed from Samsung. Its main advantages are speed and no tendency to overheat. The younger version of the smartphone (with 32 GB of internal memory) is equipped with a 3 GB RAM module, the older one (64 GB) has 4 GB. Such a “hardware” gives from 70,000 to 85,000 points” in AnTuTu, which allows you to run absolutely any games and programs at maximum graphics settings. The built-in memory can be expanded via microSD memory cards up to 128 GB. But the slot for a flash drive is combined with a slot for a SIM card, so you have to choose — either memory or a second phone number.

Battery

On a single charge of a 3050 mAh battery, the smartphone is able to last a day and a half at medium loads. And you can charge the battery up to 60% in just half an hour. By the way, the connector for connecting the charger is represented by a double-sided USB Type C.

Filming

The main camera module for a smartphone is manufactured by Sony. Its resolution is 21 MP, and it is also equipped with laser autofocus and has a wide variety of manual settings. Also, the camera can record videos in 4K resolution (3840x2160 pixels). Nevertheless, in terms of image quality, the smartphone loses a little to flagships from A-brands (LG G4, iPhone 6S).

Sound

The phablet will appeal to audiophiles as well – the design of the smartphone contains a special audio chip and a power amplifier, thanks to which the sound acquires volume and deep bass.

Reference. The best smartphones in the first half of 2015 scored about 50,000 points in the AnTuTu benchmark. In the second half of the year, the new flagship models experienced an increase in performance (about one and a half to two times), which allows you to completely get rid of lags and makes it possible to use more resource-intensive high-resolution screens (2.5K). Nevertheless, all modern games will run at maximum settings even with a synthetic test result of 40,000 points. Higher figures indicate a serious headroom for the future.
