Enamelled surface with side control

The MAUNFELD brand hob, made in black, visually resembles a glass-ceramic model. But in fact, an enameled surface is used here. A similar combination of metal + enamel is used in a pair of complete grates for dishes. They are also black and cover the entire work area, while not interfering with the operation of electric heating zones.

Another feature of the MAUNFELD EEHE 64 5EB KG is the side controls. The rotary switches are located on the right and are made of heat-resistant plastic.

Quality gas burners

The hob is equipped with two gas burners from the Italian manufacturer Sabaf with automatic ignition and gas control. In addition to them, jets of the French brand Sourdillon are proposed, which will be useful when using bottled rather than main gas. The products of these two European brands are in good standing on the market and have high overall reliability.

In the front left is a larger gas burner (equivalent to 2.6 kW power), and in the back right is a small 1.7 kW. On the first, it is recommended to place dishes with a diameter of up to 20 cm (including standard pans), and on the second — from 6 to 14 cm (for example, small ladles).

Two electric "pancakes"

Two more heating zones of the model are electric burners with a diameter of 18 mm and a power of 1500 watts. They are made of cast iron and complemented by a steel edging. In the centre of the "pancake" there is a heating indicator. The manufacturer himself calls these burners HP Rapid, declaring their rapid heating over the entire working area. But according to user reviews, they still boil water for a long time.

Anyway, for its low price, MAUNFELD EEHE 64 5EB KG looks like a very balanced combination panel.
