Model overview based on user reviews
The Mannol Classic 10W-40 engine oil is highly regarded for its excellent price-quality ratio, making it a popular choice among users. It is a semi-synthetic oil suitable for petrol, diesel, and gas engines, and is available in various volumes. Users appreciate its stable performance in both cars and generators, with no need for top-ups between changes and no burning smell. It maintains viscosity even in extreme heat, although a lower viscosity is recommended for very cold winters. The oil is approved by major car manufacturers such as Audi, VW, Skoda, SEAT, and Mercedes-Benz, ensuring reliability and compatibility. Overall, Mannol Classic 10W-40 is a trusted choice for those seeking quality engine oil at an affordable price.
Pros

Cons

For the generator, the oil is normal

I was choosing oil for the generator for the summer. In hot weather, it is recommended to pour 10W-40 instead of 10W-30. Before that, in winter/spring, I poured oil supposedly specially for generators of the YUKO 10W-30 brand. So, I accidentally came across this barrel with a nice price on the outlet. In the end, the price, volume and brand put an end to my choice. I have been pouring it into the generator for the 4th time, I change it every 40-45 hours, the flight is excellent. It starts on the second or third try immediately on gas without preheating on gasoline (the generator is connected to the main gas). After 40-45 hours of operation, the oil is black, without the smell of burning. According to the packaging, everything is ok, no signs of counterfeiting were visible. I recommend it both for the generator and for the car.
The generator on it works stably.

I recommend it, a decent oil for relatively little money.

Poured into the 12th (car model). Doesn't burn, the engine is clean, didn't top up between changes. Changed every 10,000. Everything is OK!!!

MB w124 86y 2.3 gasoline. Tried different oils both expensive and cheaper. Excellent oil for not so new cars. Reasonable consumption, doesn't leak everywhere.

Repsol is also not bad, but the price definitely favors Mannol. It is among the approved motor oils Mercedes 229.1
Price-quality. Does not lose viscosity in extreme heat.
In winter, if it is very cold, it is better to take a lower viscosity
