Drainage pump Makita PF0300 belongs to small household class pumps, which are advisable to use in the country or in the garden. He can "dive" into wells and reservoirs to a depth of 5 metres and create pressure up to 7 metres. These characteristics mean that a pump submerged in a rainwater barrel or drawing water from a reservoir on the surface can easily create and maintain the pressure required for irrigation, provided hoses up to 30 to 50 metres long are used. At the same time, it has an excellent (as for equipment of this class) performance — 8.4 m3 / h.

Robust construction

Makita drainage pumps are well thought out to ensure equipment reliability. This pump is no exception. Its body is made of durable plastic that can withstand small drops and light blows against the walls of concrete wells and pits. The tightness of the “insides”, which guarantees that water does not enter the engine, is provided by a double mechanical seal with an oil chamber. The design of the impeller allows pumping water with particles up to 5 mm in size (but liquids with silt or abrasive particles such as sand should be avoided).

There are no problems with the "Japanese"

In operation, the Makita PF0300 pump does not cause problems. Its 300-watt motor runs quietly, without disturbing summer residents. A comfortable handle and moderate weight (3.3 kg) make it easy to carry the device from place to place. The 1 1/2" spigot has a detachable herringbone combination nipple that accepts smaller garden hoses (1" or 3/4").

If you plan to use the pump for irrigation not occasionally, but often for a long time, then it is better to pay a little extra and buy a Makita PF0403 with a metal case and a steel impeller.
