Large budget grinder from a reputable manufacturer

Choosing a large grinder in the catalog of power tools, you can’t help but catch your eye on the Makita M9001. This model stands out for its low price and non-traditional (for Makita tools) red body color. It is powered by a 2000W motor, enough to get the job done on the construction site or in production. The motor has good armor (the windings are generously varnished), the "insides" are reliably protected from dust, and the body is made of durable reinforced plastic - so the tool can easily withstand difficult and harsh operating conditions. The main handle has rubberized pads so that the angle grinder does not slip in your hands during operation. The long start key has a fuse to protect against accidental activation and a latch that allows you to lock the button in the pressed position if you need to work for a long time without stopping. The equipment of the tool is quite standard: an additional handle is attached to the angle grinder (it can be screwed into the gearbox housing on the left, right or top), a protective cover for large discs (up to 230 mm) and a key needed to replace equipment.

Do not be afraid: this is almost the same Makita, only red

Recall that the Makita MT series grinders are not fakes, but slightly cheaper versions of the traditional “turquoise” Makita grinders. For example, Makita M9001, in addition to the red “uniform”, differs, in fact, only in that other brands of bearings, switches and capacitors are used in the design of this model. It can also be noted that the power cable is shortened to 2 m (but at the same time it is of high quality - soft and durable), and on the “horns” on the gearbox housing there is no such plastic lining as on the full-size “blue” Makita angle grinders of the same power class.
