Lightweight Japanese battery
The main feature of the jigsaw is the presence of a battery. One battery is enough to cut 3.5 metres of wood. Together with the battery, the jigsaw weighs only 1.7 kg, thanks to which it is easy and convenient to use the tool along the length. Although it is worth noting that the maximum jigsaw can cut a wooden beam with a cross section of less than 65 mm - much less than its "wired" competitors.
Quiet machine
Compared to other models in this class, the Makita JV100DZ is very quiet at just 76 dB. Among other things, the tool has a very low degree of vibration, so the negative effects on the user's body will be minimal. Unlike other models that operate from a continuous supply of electricity, the Makita JV100DZ does not have a fixed blade speed control. However, it is still possible to regulate this indicator using the force of pressing the start button. The start lock button prevents the jigsaw from inadvertently turning on, and also significantly reduces the degree of injury.
Ease of use
A plastic transparent shutter protects the user from getting chips in the face, which at the same time gives a good view of the cutting line. For rougher and faster cuts, the "Japanese" has a 4-stage pendulum stroke system. The device has a comfortable D-shaped non-slip rubberized handle. A vacuum cleaner can be connected to the back of the jigsaw to remove sawdust. There is also a function of the usual blowing of sawdust from the cutting line. Unfortunately, the case is not included in the Makita JV100DZ package.
