Professional two-speed impact drill of increased power with a gear-toothed (cam) chuck, designed for tooling diameters from 1.5 to 13 mm. It is a hand-held power tool for active professional use in conditions of significant loads. It is positioned in the upper part of the middle price category. It handles with the vast majority of assembly, assembly and dismantling, construction and finishing works without any problems.

The Makita DP4010 impact drill is equipped with a powerful (720 W) and reliable air-cooled commutator motor. The two-stage mechanical gearbox with hardened steel gears is equipped with a durable metal casing that effectively dissipates the heat generated during prolonged vigorous operation. The maximum rotation speed of the chuck, depending on the selected mode, reaches 1200 or 2900 rpm, which is quite enough for drilling steel, non-ferrous metals and their alloys, concrete, ceramics, polymeric materials and wood. At the same time, the tool retains moderate weight and relatively small overall dimensions, which facilitates transportation. A mechanical trigger stroke limiter is provided, which sets the permissible speed limit.
