Fast fishing from the shore and boat

An inexpensive Italian-made reel allows the fisherman to perfectly feel bites and cast the bait up to a hundred metres from the shore. This is a fast, low profile reel that makes it easy to fish nimble and manoeuvrable fish both from the shore and from a boat.

Reel brakes

The reel is equipped with two brakes: friction and centrifugal. The friction brake is responsible for releasing the fishing line so that it does not break at maximum load. In this coil, it can be customized. The centrifugal brake at the initial stage of casting begins to slowly slow down the spool so that when it comes into contact with water, the fishing line on the drum does not give a “beard”. The centrifugal brake in the Lineaeffe Colorado 101 reel can also be adjusted by moving the weights apart inside the device.

Drum Capabilities

According to the speed of winding the fishing line, the reel belongs to the “fast” type, since with one turn of the handle it makes 6.2 turns of the drum. This reel can hold 140 metres of 0.35 mm thick line, which can easily support fish up to 7 kg. The handle is located on the left, as in most multiplier reels. The weight of the graphite unit is only 214 grams. Six bearings ensure that the handle moves smoothly and easily when winding the line.
