Line 6 sound equipment needs no introduction and is characterized by high quality and functionality. For the Spider V 20 combo modeling amplifier, you will have to shell out about $160, but these are mere pennies for such a device.

"20-watt" turned out to be quite compact — 355x381x203 mm — and solid. The control panel is angled for easy setup, and the wide handle makes transporting the cabinet quick and easy. The edges of the case are protected by massive pads that protect against possible impacts, and the 8-inch speaker is equipped with a choice of black or red grille. The combo itself is traditionally black.
Maybe everything
You can connect all types of guitars to the amplifier, even bass and acoustics. There are distortion, reverb, tremolo, chorus, delay, crunch, 200 amp presets and other effects to customize any sound you want. 3 effects can be assigned to each preset. The "Drive" knob will add volume to the distortion, "Volume" will adjust the volume of the effect.
Almost "warm tube"
The amp can be connected to a smartphone or computer via USB and edit your presets using the free Spider V Remote app or record parts in Steinberg Cubase LE (included). There is a built-in tuner(when it is turned on, the FX buttons serve as tuning indicators), TAP Tempo, a mini-jack headphone jack. But the lack of Line-in may not be to your liking. Moreover, it is impossible to play tracks from external devices via USB.
As for the sound quality, it is rich and clear, but still "digital". However, in the "Spider V20" Line 6 almost managed to overcome the "blur" characteristic of most digital effects, when they are lost in the overall mix, so that with skillful hands the sound can be wound up with quite decent quality.
In general, the Line 6 Spider V 20 turned out to be a solid four: with a loud clear sound and a lot of settings. And also universal. You can connect bass guitars, acoustics, and electrics to it. For complete happiness, only a footswitch connector is missing, but it is implemented in more powerful models of the line, starting with the Spider V30.
