The main distinguishing feature of the model was a full-fledged LG Smart TV system based on proprietary WebOS development.

Its functionality allows the LG HF80JS projector to play the role of a multimedia player for network content and local files from USB drives. It is capable of playing all popular file formats with resolutions up to 1920x1080 at 60 fps. There are pre-installed applications for accessing Youtube, Netflix, VuDu, Google Map resources, there is a proprietary application store. A detailed and rich projection image with a diagonal size of up to 3 m is created using a high-tech LED laser source with an impressive rated life of 20,000 hours and a maximum brightness of up to 2000 lm. Setting up and controlling the projector is simple and intuitive for the inexperienced user. There is an integrated audio system (2x3 W), and the built-in bluetooth adapter can broadcast sound to external bluetooth speakers.
