The model received an inverter compressor, which contributes to reliability, quiet operation (up to 36 dB) and economical energy consumption (class A ++ with a flow rate of up to 270 kWh per year). Thanks to the Total No Frost system, the LG GW-B509SQJZ refrigerator does not need to be defrosted manually, and proprietary DoorCooling+ technology should contribute to a more even distribution of cold. The useful volume of the unit reaches 384 liters, which is partly due to the large height of the body (203 cm). The 277-litre fridge compartment features a freshness zone and a separate humidity-adjustable container for optimal storage of fruits and vegetables. The freezer has a capacity of 107 liters and contains three transparent tempered glass drawers. For the freezer, the ability to keep cold during an emergency power outage for 19 hours is claimed, as well as to freeze up to 14 kg of food per day.
