Mid-low-cost TV from NanoCell's entry-level 2020 lineup. The model comes with an IPS screen with a diagonal of 54.6". The substrate for it uses a pseudo-ten-bit matrix (8 bits + FRC) with the technology of local dimming of the LED backlight in order to increase the contrast. The panel implements Nano Cell technology, which is a nano-dot filter for filtering excess light and improving the colour of the broadcast image. Other noteworthy features of the display are support for HDR formats HDR10 and HLG, as well as LG's own formats (HLG Pro and HDR10 Pro). The difference between the LG 55NANO80 and its counterparts in the 90th series is the lack of an HDMI 2.1 port in the interface shelf, which means that the user will not be able to use 120 fps when playing 4K video. Dolby Atmos sound and Dol...by Vision picture also remained the prerogative of senior NanoCell colleagues. The operating system of the TV is based on the webOS 5.0 operating system, which is directly connected to the new ThinQ AI 2020 platform, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa virtual assistants. The Magic Remote is used to control the TV panel.
