Curved TV
When watching video on conventional, "flat" TVs with large diagonals, the image may suffer due to the fact that the viewer looks at different parts of the screen from different angles. It creates a subjective feeling that the screen is actually "convex", because its central part is slightly closer to the viewer compared to the extreme borders of the image. To solve this problem, advanced cinemas (for example, IMAX) use curved screens. Following this example, LG created the world's first mass-produced curved screen TV.

OLED technology (organic light emitting diodes)
The technology has replaced the usual LED lighting. "Organic light-emitting diodes" independently generate light, in connection with which the need for backlighting disappears altogether. Such a solution can significantly reduce the thickness of the TV and reduce power consumption by about 10 times compared to a conventional LCD TV.
