The flasher has 5 modes, including 3 flashing modes at different frequencies, a pulse mode (essentially the same as flashing), and a constant glow. I always turn on the fastest flashing mode, so it catches the eye better on the road and the battery drains slower. The flasher itself is very bright, when you turn it on, you can see the light from it on the road behind, I think I'm very well noticeable.
The case is solid metal, screwed to the base with a thread - unscrew, change the batteries, and forget for a couple of years; maintenance is straightforward. The flasher itself is small and when turned off under the seat, it's practically invisible.
I'm very satisfied with the purchase, the flasher is just indestructible, highly recommend getting one.
