Levenhuk Skyline Travel 80 is a lightweight mobile refractor aimed at beginner astronomers. Due to its compact size, it can be used to study near space straight from the balcony of a high-rise building. However, the telescope produces the best picture far from urban illumination.

The model uses a shortened optical tube, due to which the focal length is reduced to 400 mm. The objective lens diameter of the telescope is 80 mm. Together with the complete eyepieces (25 mm, 9 mm) and a 3x Barlow lens, an optical magnification of 132x is achieved. Orientation on the ground
Levenhuk Skyline Travel 80 is mounted on a classic azimuth mount and an aluminium tripod with flexible leg height adjustment. In order to simplify the orientation on the ground and search for astronomical objects in the sky, a built-in liquid compass was placed on the optical tube of the telescope.
