Lenovo V15 IML

A line of lightweight multi-purpose medium format laptops from Lenovo based on the 2-core Intel Core i3 (Comet Lake) processors. They belong to the low-cost segment, are part of the new V line, which Lenovo launched at the beginning of this decade. The manufacturer is positioned as affordable and universal solutions for small businesses, work on the road, study and multimedia entertainment.

They differ in extremely democratic cost: a model with minimal characteristics will cost a potential user around $425, while for an “advanced” modification you will have to pay about $700. These are also rare laptops by modern standards in which you can find an old-school HDD drive and 4 GB of RAM. Although, most modifications of the Lenovo V15 still have 8 GB of RAM and a more modern SSD drive with a capacity of no more than 256 GB.

Graphics are handled by the integrated Intel UHD graphics card. To display an image, the Lenovo V15 IML has an inexpensive 15.6-inch display based on a TN + film matrix with Full HD resolution, modest color reproduction, a basic margin of brightness (220 cd / m2) and viewing angles limited for TN matrices. The claimed battery life of the device can reach 9 hours. There is a card reader on board. The webcam broadcasts an image in a resolution of 640x480 pixels. Network communications are handled by a network controller with a built-in wireless receiver (Wi-Fi 5 + Bluetooth 5.0). To protect user data, a built-in TPM cryptographic module is provided.
