A tablet with a memorable appearance
In the case of the Tab 4 10 Plus, Lenovo managed to make an almost perfect tablet. It looks great, it has a thin body (only 7 mm) with strict edging and slightly rounded side edges, and the plastic cover is covered with Gorilla Glass protective glass. Thanks to this, the tablet is difficult to scratch, even with effort, and it is practically not afraid of accidental scratches in the bag.
10 inch IPS screen
The Tab 4 10 Plus has a 10-inch IPS screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. The screen is definitely one of the strengths of the tablet. It has good picture quality, excellent viewing angles (shades do not change even with a strong tilt) and a large margin of brightness. Interestingly, in very sunny weather, you can turn on the special “Bright Lighting” mode in the screen menu, which twists the brightness above the standard maximum. Also worth noting is the "Double Tap" function, which brings the tablet out of sleep with a double tap on the screen.
Multimedia centre with Dolby Atmos support
It seems that Lenovo clearly understood that they would buy the tablet primarily for the sake of multimedia functions, therefore, in addition to an excellent screen, the model was equipped with excellent stereo speakers with a competent location on the case (it would be difficult to close them with your hands). If this is not enough, you can turn on the Dolby Atmos mode in the menu with flexible sound settings depending on the content. It is clear that Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus will not be able to shake a stereo picture like a home theater, but Dolby Atmos adds power and volume decently.
Balanced hardware
Thanks to the balanced hardware (Snapdragon 625 + 4 GB of RAM), the tablet has no problems. Surfing the web, working with spreadsheets, watching HD videos, editing photos, running demanding games like Asphalt Xtreme and Real Racing 3 on medium settings all come with relative ease. The system running Android 7 runs smoothly and without lags.
Excellent battery life
Finally, it is worth praising the 7000 mAh battery, which on average lasts for 10-13 hours of operation. This is under mixed load conditions, with Wi-Fi or 4G turned on and the screen brightness is medium. With minimal brightness and severed connectivity to the world, Lenovo says the tablet can last up to 20 hours.
