Lenovo's Legion S7 gaming laptop line-up combines high-performance gaming solutions that boast a sleek, ultrabook-like design. Representatives of the family belong to the upper price segment and are positioned by the manufacturer as the thinnest models on the market (body thickness 19 mm) with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30-series graphics card on board. This accelerator delivers high graphics performance, ray-traced cores, and AI for content optimization.
As a result, all Lenovo Legion S7 15ACH6 laptops allow you to run the latest AAA games at high settings and enjoy a smooth picture without lags or brakes. The rest of the “stuffing” also corresponds to the graphic potential, because the laptops of the series provide high-performance 6 or 8-core AMD Ryzen Cezanne (Zen 3) engines, at least 16 GB of RAM, SSD M.2 solid state drives and an efficient Coldfront 3.0 cooling system.
All laptops in the line also received a 15.6-inch screen with excellent RGB colour gamut, support for Dolby Vision and a refresh rate increased to 165 Hz. This means that both the overall quality and colour accuracy and the smoothness of the video sequence in dynamic games will be on top. Other pleasant things include the Harman branded speaker system, keyboard backlight, Wi-Fi 6 module, fingerprint scanner and fast charging (15 minutes of charging from the outlet gives up to 3 hours of operation).

I definitely recommend buying. Good device. The only annoying thing is the radeon driver, which decides how to play with dimming and backlighting. When switching to discrete, this is not observed. Price (caught for 35k in December 2022). Color rendition 3050TI is not for gaming, but still allows you to play demanding games Design. Material Fast fingerprint scanner Lid opening angle 180 degrees (never came in handy). Excellent software-adjustable RGB lighting. I don't use it, but it looks cool In RDR 2 the maximum temperature was 90-91 degrees Radeon driver. Perhaps someone will find 2xUSB insufficient. No HDMI (requires USB-C to HDMI). Got a unit with a problem. At a certain monitor angle, the camera artifact appears. |
The item is definitely fun and cool, but naturally, it comes with its nuances and compromises, more details in the video - https://youtu. Definitely the design and dimensions; Performance for a slimmer gaming laptop; Screen and its opening angle; Presence of a scanner, which is well implemented; Speakers I'm still waiting for more compact power supplies, like those made with GaN, so they aren't so bulky)) There are also questions regarding the cooling system and battery life, but these are likely specifics of my particular unit. |
My version with full HD, on Ryzen 5 and 16 gigs of RAM, others are more expensive, and I didn't see them for sale when I bought it, I also installed Windows myself, there's enough space on the laptop, at least for now. I quickly got used to the keyboard, although at first, I didn't like those arrow keys one row lower. Not heavy by the way, even though it's 1.9 kg. I don't know why, but it's quite a solid piece of beech, I would say. Doesn't feel like you're holding cheap junk in your hands. Haven't found anything like this yet, even the sound is decent. |
