The Big Build

LEGO Police Station 60141 is one of the most ambitious sets from an architectural point of view, comparable only to the fire station and the medieval castle from the now-discontinued Castle series (also known as Kingdoms). However, the eternal battle between police and crime (in LEGO's typical harmless, humorous style) remains more popular than firefighters and knights.

Compensates with Quantity

The LEGO Police Station 60141 set is rich in the number of vehicles but not in quality: police and criminal cars, as well as a helicopter, are small and poorly detailed. The only transport worth mentioning is the cool police motorcycle with a siren, which really resembles a real one. The set includes four police officer figures, three criminals, and a police dog. By the way, the female police officer with sunglasses and a cap strongly resembles the heroine from the comedy movie "Police Academy."

Day-to-Day Police Life

Unlike the vehicles, the police station blocks are large and well-furnished: numerous computers for access to a database with personal files, a water cooler, and a coffee machine. It's worth noting that the computer monitors have finally changed from CRT to LCD — Danish designers had been ignoring this real-life innovation for a very long time. The garage door opens, and the prison wall collapses after a "dynamite" explosion. So, be ready for a real police chase! But without shootings, as LEGO is a pacifist company.
