big construction

LEGO Police Station 60141 is one of the largest building sets from an architectural point of view, comparable only to the fire station and the medieval castle of the now frozen Castle series (another name for Kingdoms). But the age-old fight of the police against crime (in the harmless, joking manner typical of LEGO) is still more popular than firefighters and knights.

Takes quantity

Transport set LEGO Police Station 60141 is rich quantitatively, but not qualitatively: police cars and criminals, as well as a helicopter, are small and poorly detailed. The only transport that pleases is a cool police motorcycle with a flashing light, which really looks like a real one. Four policemen figures, three criminals and a service shepherd are included. By the way, the policewoman in sunglasses and a cap is very reminiscent of the heroine of the comedy movie "Police Academy".

Police everyday life

Unlike transport, the blocks of the police station are large and carefully arranged: numerous computers for accessing the dossier database, a water cooler and a coffee machine. By the way, computer monitors have finally changed from CRT to LCD — Danish designers have ignored this know-how from real life for a very long time. The garage door opens, and the prison wall collapses after the "explosion" of dynamite. So be a real police chase! But no gunfights, because LEGO is a pacifist company.
