Antarctica is calling
LEGO Arctic Mobile Exploration Base 60195 is a polar expedition, the purpose of which is to find, extract and deliver for study the perfectly preserved remains of a mammoth, frozen in ice tens of millions of years ago. It is equally well suited for the role of a children's toy and for the role of decorating an adult's shelf.
Snow caravan
The expedition team includes four units: a super-powerful tractor, also a crane, with six giant wheels so as not to get stuck in the snow; a "house on wheels" (or rather on skis) for the polar explorers to live in, with opening doors and a roof hatch; a drilling excavator; and finally a trailer. Initially, a snowmobile motorcycle was mounted on it, but later it will be used to transport the mammoth.
Prehistoric beast
The highlight of the entire LEGO Arctic Mobile Exploration Base 60195 set is undoubtedly the large mammoth figure, spectacularly frozen into the ice. The animal's long tusks are especially impressive. The figures of people are dressed in headwear that is quite rare among LEGO constructors: a motorcycle helmet, a climbing helmet, knitted hats, a fur hood and an earflaps hat.
