Thoughtful design
Kovea's gas-powered camping stove comes in copper-black. On the right is an opening compartment for a 220 gram collet cylinder. The burner is complemented by a base with a stand for dishes. It is easily removed, for example, for cleaning from pollution.
For storage and transportation, the Kovea KGR-3500 package includes a case, or rather a dense plastic case with a handle.
Powerful and adjustable
The power of the stove is 2900 W, thanks to which it is able to quickly boil water (it takes an average of 4.5 – 5 minutes per liter of water), cook or heat up various foods. The intensity of the device can be conveniently adjusted using the rotary switch. It is also complemented by piezo ignition, that is, you do not have to use matches or other sources of fire.
Universal Choice
The owners note that despite the relatively small size (33x23x9 cm) and weight (less than 1.5 kg) of the stove, quite large dishes stand confidently here, up to 5-liter pots.
The high power results in a corresponding fuel consumption (200 g/h), but one standard bottle is still enough for about an hour of work. In operation, the device performs well under different weather conditions: it does not overheat in the heat, it “works” regularly in the cold. And in case of downtime, the cylinder is easily disconnected from the system with one push, which minimizes the risk of gas leakage.
