The Kospel EKCO.R2 6 electric boiler from a Polish manufacturer of household heating equipment is the best solution for providing heat to small spaces. The single-circuit model with a power of 6 kW is designed for heating an area of about 48 m². When connecting an external indirect heating boiler, the device will also prepare hot water. But a prerequisite for the joint operation of the boiler with a storage water heater is to retrofit it with a 3-way valve and a temperature sensor. Of the 2 electrical connection options (220 and 400 V), the most convenient way for an apartment and a private house will be to use a household single-phase power supply. The device features compact dimensions of 660x380x175 mm, which are smaller in every linear dimension than most similar models, as well as a light weight of only 18 kg.
Grundfos pump
The heating unit is equipped with a stainless steel flask with 3 built-in heating elements, an external control unit, a safety group, a mechanical pressure gauge, an automatic air vent, a flow sensor and a Grundfos 3-speed circulation pump, which, depending on the settings, can operate in continuous and automatic modes. But the main feature of the model is the built-in room temperature controller, which allows you to automatically modulate the heating power depending on how warm it is in the room.
ECO mode
The control panel contains buttons for power and economy mode switches, as well as 2 temperature change buttons.
