The RL 4'' revolver of the Czech company Kora Brno, known for the quality and reliability of its models, belongs to the middle price segment, but is distinguished by unprecedented power.
General view
The sophisticated design of the RL 4'' with wood or plastic grips (two versions) immediately catches the eye. The 4-inch barrel and 8-round drum are made of steel used in the manufacture of military weapons, and the body is made of a durable alloy of zinc, aluminium and copper, which is quite difficult to damage.
There are no complaints about the assembly, but there are a couple of things about the design. Many users note a large gap between the body and the drum and an uncomfortable handle, which is frankly small for a large palm.
Main settings
A steel rifled barrel and unbored drum chambers provide an unprecedentedly high bullet speed for such a weapon in the range of 200-260 m / s. Passing through the barrel channel, the bullet spins, receiving additional energy. As a result, from five metres RL 4'' easily breaks through a zinc bucket. However the rifled barrel must be cleaned regularly, but this further enhances the resemblance to military weapons.
The high-strength steel double-action trigger mechanism works like a Swiss watch, providing good accuracy of fire. The sight is adjustable, which adds accuracy to the shot. From eight metres, bullets easily fall into a circle with a diameter of 10 cm!
Kora Brno RL 4" is rightfully considered one of the best, and fully justifies its expensive cost.
