German gas engine

"At the helm" of the mobile power plant, a German four-stroke petrol engine with low emissions was installed. At the peak, it generates up to 5.5 kW of electricity, in the nominal mode of operation, you can count on 5 kW of generated power. The engine of the unit has an easy start system — an electric starter paired with an automatic transfer to reserve unit (ATS). Also, the model was equipped with a traditional manual starter.

Fuel efficiency

At half load, the mini power plant consumes about 1.47 liters of fuel per hour of continuous operation, which allows it to stay afloat for 17 hours without refueling. Indications of the generated voltage are displayed on the information screen of the generator. It also serves to display the "mileage" of the unit — the hour metre will tell you about the approached scheduled maintenance date.

Anti-vibration system

The engine of the gas generator is mounted on rubber pads, and its steel frame rests on rubber stops to reduce vibrations. But he did not get the transport wheels, which causes difficulties with the movement of the unit. Still, the Konner & Sohnen KS 7000E ATS weighs 76 kg in assembly. However, it is always possible to carve out a stationary location for the generator, not forgetting about the exhaust gases output through the exhaust pipe nozzle with a diameter of 25 mm.
