The steam vacuum cleaner, which debuted in the spring of 2020, is one of the advanced solutions in the proprietary line of the Russian brand KITFORT. The device combines the possibility of dust suction and steam cleaning of surfaces, and these procedures can be combined or performed separately. The model is capable of generating steam within 20 minutes after adding water to a 450 mL removable tank and plugging it into the network.

Feed intensity is regulated by the control panel on the handle: there are two modes (maximum — 22 g / min). The KITFORT KT-575 steam vacuum cleaner also received a 1.1-liter cyclone-type dust collector, which is complemented by a fine and coarse filtration system. Manoeuvrability and the possibility of cleaning in hard-to-reach places will be provided by a rotary floor brush, on which a fabric cloth is fixed with Velcro. Other features of the model include a rather long power cord (6 metres) with the possibility of winding it on a special holder near the handle.

KITFORT KT-575 operates in three modes: dust suction only, steam cleaning only and combination of two functions at once. The maximum noise level during operation of the vacuum cleaner is claimed at 75 dB (in fact, it can be a couple of decibels, but this is the norm for this class of devices).

Efficient steaming

Thanks to a total power of 1600 W, the steam cleaner will please you with a quick readiness for steaming (after 20 seconds). First, you only need to fill the removable reservoir with a capacity of 450 mL. There are two steam power settings available: minimum and maximum. The intensity changes accordingly from 17 to 22 grams per minute. Less power will reduce the amount of moisture and is recommended for sensitive wood surfaces. The maximum mode is suitable for tiles, linoleum, as well as the fight against complex pollution.

According to reviews, KITFORT KT-575 adequately handles with cleaning and steaming hard floor coverings without leaving streaks (which is also helped by an additional narrow cloth nozzle). It is also useful for removing dirt from the upholstery of furniture and carpets with a small nap.

Pleasant trifles

There are many thoughtful details in the design of the steam vacuum cleaner, including a long 8-metre power cord, controls placed on the handle, a water level scale on the tank, a manoeuvrable floor brush with foot pedals for removing fabric nozzles. The disadvantages of users include an inconvenient system for attaching the dust collector to the body, requiring additional effort for proper fixation. Another minus is the large weight of 5.3 kg (at least for women's hands), but the wheels at the base should partially compensate for it.

Anyway, KITFORT KT-575 is a useful household appliance that helps remove dust and crumbs, disinfect floors and remove old dirt.
