The KangerTech Subox Mini, a popular starter kit that received the “C” in the model name, has been updated with a couple of useful innovations: quick access to the evaporator and the ability to adjust the liquid flow.
Rectangular mod
The rectangular battery mod of the device is powered by a single 18650 battery. Please note that the battery is not included in the package and must be purchased separately. It is possible to replenish the battery's energy reserves through the microUSB connector. On the same side face there are electronic cigarette control keys and a small OLED display that serves to display information about voltage, power, resistance level (0.3-1.6 Ohm) and battery remaining.
Variwatt
The device supports the variatt mode (variable power) — the power level is adjusted in the range from 7 to 50 W with a minimum step of 0.1 W. The more power, the more vapor the electronic cigarette can generate. But the temperature control function of the device, unfortunately, is not supported.
Practical clearomizer
The kit with the model includes a ProTank 5 clearomizer with adjustable fluid supply and quick access to the evaporation element. The claimed volume of the tank for e-liquid for vaping is 3 mL, in fact, about 4 mL is placed in it. It is undesirable to overfill the container above the marked level, because this increases the risk of fluid leakage.
Optimal choice
One of the minuses of the model is the non-removable mouthpiece — it is simply one piece with the top cover, so you won’t be able to change it. But in terms of the variety and availability of vaporizers, the question is not at all — the atomizer is compatible with all branded vaporizer elements of the SSOCC series, which are the best choice for novice vapers (adherents of vaping).
