The electromechanical sewing machine from the Janome brand belongs to the budget segment and offers a basic set of features for repair and simple tailoring tasks at home. It is equipped with a classic vertical shuttle hook — an affordable and reliable mechanism for performing various tasks. The machine is capable of executing 15 sewing operations, including straight, blind, and zigzag stitches, as well as elastic and overlock stitches.

The buttonhole is formed in a semi-automatic mode. The Janome Ami 10 settings allow working with different types of fabrics, including delicate thin and thick materials. Users can adjust the stitch length (up to 4 mm), zigzag width (up to 5 mm), and upper thread tension. Additionally, a reverse function (backstitching) is provided to secure the seam.
