For a good gas snowblower, you don't have to pay an outrageous amount of money. Take, for instance, one of the most affordable models in its class with a self-propelled drive, the Intertool SN-5000.

Gasoline Engine

The snowblower is equipped with a wheel drive, which is powered by a four-stroke gasoline engine with a volume of 163 "cc". The engine also drives the powerful metal auger that grinds snow into small particles. In one pass, the machine's scoop captures a strip of snow 56 cm wide, with a maximum snow cap height set at 42 cm. The engine of the snowblower starts manually, meaning with a traditional pull cord.

Gearbox

The comfortable travel speed is set by the gearbox handle on the operator's console. The "driver" of the Intertool SN-5000 has access to four forward gears and two reverse speeds. From now on, minimum effort is needed to push the machine through deep snowdrifts. The model effectively handles freshly fallen snow and "eats" old snow drifts. Additionally, the operator can adjust the direction and distance of the expelled processed snow.

Affordability

The snowblower uses unleaded gasoline of grade A92 and above as fuel. The machine's tank holds up to 3.6 liters of fuel, which is enough for a couple of hours of "running" the snowblower around a backyard. To top it all off, as always, the most appealing aspect is the affordable cost of the model (approximately 1.5-2 times cheaper than similar-performing foreign counterparts).
