For this price?! This set is just awesome. It has everything you need for car and household needs. I got it for my car, and I'm very satisfied with both the quality and the number of attachments in the set. I liked that there are many different attachments + chrome vanadium coating, they don't slip in hand because of the matte finish + durable and convenient case (small suitcase) I must note that the quality is also not cheap ☝️ The fact that there are no box-end wrenches where you need to unscrew a nut from the side means you can't get in with a socket head. A set of tools with a very good content for car repair. There are long sockets in the most popular sizes, as well as sockets for a star and a wide selection of hex and Torx - German car owners will appreciate this when they do not have to buy additional sets. The quality of the box itself is average, like all inexpensive sets, but the latches, although plastic, are made wisely, and not small plastic tabs that come off over time. The weakest "link" of the set is the ratchet keys, they are disposable. The small one broke the reverse switch before it started to unscrew, and the big one broke the ratchet, about a week later. So, I bought a used Chevrolet Epica, and after six months, problems started to pop up. At the same time, my brother also began having issues with his domestic clunker. I can fix most of the suspension repairs and a lot in the engine myself, but you can't do it without proper tools. That's why my brother and I decided to get a big set for both of us. I must say, it turned out to be a successful purchase! ))) The set is impressive and detailed with as many as 108 pieces. The most valuable and essential for me personally are the socket heads, of which there are no fewer than 56 pieces! There are 43 regular hex sockets ranging from 4 to 32 mm, both simple and extended, and 13 pieces of the E-type, meaning for unscrewing TORX profiles ranging from E4 to E24. For the socket heads, there are a total of 4 extensions, so you can reach anything anywhere. There are two swiveling handles. Following the socket heads, it's worth mentioning the various types of bits. There are plenty of them too, including standard slotted in various sizes as well as PZ, PH, and the same TORX. The kit also includes two universal joints, two sturdy ratchet wrenches - one for half-inch size and the other, smaller one, for quarter-inch size. In addition, there are two spark plug sockets and also a screwdriver handle. The tool is made from carbon steel with chrome and vanadium additives. Based on usage experience, the hardening was decent, and the surface hardness is excellent. As an anti-corrosion coating, I believe they used electroplated chrome. What can't help but be appreciated is the price. It's affordable, and buying something better for such money is quite unrealistic. Tight ratchets. The smell from the plastic case in which all this stuff is packed is, to put it mildly, overwhelming. At best, the Chinese made it from recycled polymer. )) |
